Bioprocess Engineering
Our group is continuously working from last 15 years on the production of different microbial metabolites like lipstatin,CoenzymeQ-10, pullulan, and colchicine derivatives. We have developed upstream as well as downstream processes for the above metabolites.
Metabolic Engineering
Our group is started working on metabolic engineering of fatty acid biosynthesis for enhancement of anti-obesity molecule (lipstatin) productivity.
Environmental Biotechnology
Our group is working on mineralization of cancer drugs, antibiotics as well as micro-nano- plastic since 8 years. Currently, we are working of detection of microplastic in sealed water bottle. Beside this, integrated approach developed for degradation of antineoplatic and antibiotics present in wastewater.
